„საგზაო მოძრაობის შესახებ“ საქართველოს კანონის 5-ე მუხლის მე-9 პუნქტის თანახმად, გამყოფი ზოლი – კონსტრუქციულად გამოყოფილი გზის ელემენტი, რომელიც ყოფს მომიჯნავე სავალ ნაწილებს და არ არის განკუთვნილი მასზე ურელსო სატრანსპორტო საშუალების მოძრაობისათვის.
