„საგზაო მოძრაობის შესახებ“ საქართველოს კანონის 34-ე მუხლის მე-17 პუნქტის თანახმად, თუ გასწრებისას აღმოჩნდა დაბრკოლება ან საფრთხე, რომლის გათვალისწინება მძღოლს არ შეეძლო გასწრების დაწყებამდე, ან თუ მან ვერ შეძლო სიტუაციის სწორი შეფასება, მძღოლი ვალდებულია შეწყვიტოს გასწრება. თუ მძღოლმა გასწრება შეწყვიტა და ადრე დაკავებულ მოძრაობის ზოლში დაბრუნებას აპირებს, მის უკან მომავალი სატრანსპორტო საშუალებების მძღოლებმა მას უნდა მისცენ ამის შესაძლებლობა.
